Jim's journey with music began at the age of 10 when he wanted to play the piano. Growing up in a farm family with 9 kids, there was no room for a piano, so his mom gave him a concertina. Jim played in the Jim Dandy's band for barn parties and weddings for many years until life took over. After a 20+ year break, a chance moment while delivering doughnuts reignited his love for playing. Now, he's back and playing for friends, family, and the joy of it. Whether you're a long time fan of old-timey tunes or curious about this delightful genre, come on down to Mustang Sally's for a fun afternoon!
